The goal of this assignment was to use four to nine black or white squares on a contrasting background to create six compositions that (separately) represented the following words: bold, congested, increase, order, playful, and tension. They are listed in this order below, with the original thumbnails being featured first. This assignment was a great way of starting out the course to get a sense of how negative space works in a composition.
